I am really critical about Operating System (OS) since I am a computer hobbyist. I spend lot of hours on my PC everyday. My day is not complete without using my computer. I firmly believe that the software installed in a PC has a big impact to the machine’s performance. The PC’s hardware might be the latest in the market but it might perform as hardware bought a decade’s ago. This is true especially when the operating system does the user or system tasks badly.
I used to have a Windows XP and Vista but both didn’t exceed my expectations. For instance, these operating systems take time to display images in a folder. The security is not so good, etc. After learning that Microsoft will release Windows 7 this October at first I am so hesitant. But after hearing feedback from my friends saying that this OS is really good and fast, I was convinced to give it a try. And wow! I was astounded. This time Microsoft came up with an OS that is almost perfect. Windows 7 is fast and graphically superior to other operating systems. I am also a user of Linux Fedora 10 and Mac OS X and based on my experience Windows 7 really stands out.
Windows 7 32-bit is suitable for PCs installed with Pentium 4 or Celeron. If your PC is installed with dual core or quad core CPU’s might as well install the 64-bit Windows 7 so the machine could be utilized to its maximum power.

Nope, Windows 7 works very similar to Windows Vista. Applications that run in Vista are also expected to run in Windows 7.
Hi, I’m very interested in Linux but Im a Super Newbie and I’m having trouble deciding on the right distribution for me (Havent you heard this a million times?) anyway here is my problem, I need a distribution that can switch between reading and writing in English and Japanese (Japanese Language Support) with out restarting the operating system.
